More Information:	This cat is thought to be more like a dog than a cat in as much as it has an ability to retrieve items, and return them to base. These cats are demanding of their owners attention by meowing quite loudly whenever necessary. The Burmese is an intelligent cat that quickly establishes itself as a valued member of the family. There is a wide variety of colours that are acceptable with the standards set for this breed. The Burmese Cat has a glossy short coat that requires only minimal grooming.
