The Persian Cats with their long luxurious coats have instant appeal, they are truly beautiful. There is a wide range of allowed coat and eye colours in the show arena. This cat will need extensive daily grooming that will require commitment. The Persian cat is not demanding and is comfortable with being left alone for longer periods of time. There are a number of health issues with this breed including Polycystic Kidney Disease which can ultimately progress to renal failure, kidney stones are also sometimes a problem with the Persian cat.
