The Jack Russell Terrier is definitely hyper active and energetic to the extreme. They are very affectionate and with their winning ways quickly establish themselves as a well loved family member. They are an excitable little dog that can become snappy if over stimulated. Although they are small they are muscular and strong. The Jack Russell is efficient at hunting and killing rats.
